We foster sustainable peace and security by engaging diverse stakeholders by conducting conflict assessments, scenario building, dialogue, negotiation and mediation (Alternative Dispute Resolution-ADR) approaches, capacity building of communities to prevent conflicts, promotion of psychosocial and trauma healing programmes.
Through conflict sensitive approaches, we promote transparency, accountability and public participation through conducting public awareness promotion campaigns, and inclusive and participatory community engagements.
We promote results based environmental solutions by supporting livelihood diversification programmes and integrating climate resilience to peacebuilding initiatives.
We rally efforts towards implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 2250 on the role of women and youth in conflict prevention, management and resolutions respectively. Integrating women, youth and persons with disabilities perspectives in environmental solutions, good governance is critical. Providing spaces for inter-generational engagements is key towards realization of peace and environmental sustainability. Through community driven initiatives, we mentor both youth and women to advocate for their inclusion.
